Gracy Tavamani is the EVP of Human Capital Management at Kinara Capital where she oversees talent acquisition, talent management, employee experience, compliance, and performance management. She also oversees the company’s Leadership & Training program and the Administration team that provides operational support to both the Corporate office and to Kinara’s field staff across 125+ branches.

Gracy joined Kinara Capital in 2015 and has skillfully led resource management for the fast- growing company’s changing needs by scaling the talent base from 50 employees to 1,400+ today. She has designed comprehensive compensation and benefits plans for all levels and handles the HR Governance and Compliance requirements. She also digitized the company’s HCM operations for efficiency. By replicating the company’s data-driven approach and modifying it for talent acquisition, Gracy sped up the CV review process which meant that the team was able to close on 800+ openings within a year.

Committed to Kinara’s core values, Gracy reinforced the culture across the company. She plays a key role in strategizing and hiring for the leadership team to take the company to the next level. Gracy has been instrumental in building Kinara’s women-majority management team, and offering a safe and an inclusive workplace for women, LGBTQ+ community, and for people with disabilities.

Prior to joining Kinara Capital, Gracy was the President of HR & Administration at MVJ College of Engineering in Bangalore. With more than 20 years of experience, Gracy holds rich experience across multiple sectors including financial services, education, infrastructure, technology, and apparel.

Gracy holds an MBA in Finance & HR University of Mysore, and has completed an Executive Development Program In Human Resources (EDPHRM) from XLRI Jamshedpur. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Business Management from American Business Management & Technology College.

Gracy was recognized amongst the ‘Top 50 Women Leaders in HR’ in India by Vedica Women's Alliance in 2021.
