What a year it has been! With the Covid-19 pandemic bringing everything to a grinding halt and bringing along a host of changes, it has been a year of learning and adapting to big changes. We learnt to get used to working from home, juggling household responsibilities and work, helping out children with online classes, and shelving all plans for meeting family and friends and going on long-awaited vacations.
All things considered, it has been a very difficult year, especially for those at the bottom of the pyramid. We witnessed the mass exodus of daily wage earners as they struggled to get home during lockdown and the plight of small businesses as their cash flows dried up. As a company, as well as as individuals, everyone at Kinara has put in time and effort to help in any way possible, and we continue to do so.
Many of us are just happy that 2020 is ending. But the end of the year is only a symbolic finish line. We’ll have to keep fighting the good fight as 2021 dawns, and we’re ready to take on the challenge. We’re all in this together, and together we will get through this.
